You can see that the legs of the mat raise it up out of the water. Because the mat is full size for the shower, we don't need to worry about slippage. Channels are cut through the legs to provide proper drainage.

This close up shows how the legs and runners are dadocut with waterproof glue to provide improved joints that will not separate.
